POSITION
Local Company seeks SALES COORDINATOR for its Sales Department
Position Description:
The Sales Coordinator plays an integral role in the Company’s operations as this person serves as one of the first point of contacts for the Company’s clients. We are looking for a qualified, young professional with a background in Business with strong development in sales and marketing to fill the position.
The individual would be responsible for the effective communication with clients the products and services the Company has to offer to a broad range of international clients at the major resorts for which the Company operates. To this end, the Sales Coordinator’s responsibilities may include but is not limited to, site inspections, quotation/ agreement preparation and maintaining adequate records of client information.
This person will also be responsible for ensuring that all Company guidelines, procedures and policies are adhered to and will work closely with executive management (including the Sales Director) on executing the business strategy and objectives.
Qualifications:
• Advanced knowledge of meeting and event practices.
• Moderate to advance knowledge in contract negotiations.
• Demonstrates ability to handle all scopes of meetings and events, small to large.
• Strong administration skills including the ability to set priorities and organize administrative systems and procedures.
• Exceptional professionalism, control and confidence and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the Company and with clients.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and negotiation skills, including the ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
• Must be able to work with little oversight.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays where required.
• Must be able to travel as necessary for site visits, training and other priority meetings.
• Strong presentation skills.
Education:
o Bachelors Degree in related field.
o At least 2-4 years experience in sales/marketing, meeting and event planning.
o Highly proficient with MS office programs
